After 15 years of working as an electronics technician in the Navy and in private companies, I decided to pursue a career teaching math.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Mathematics, and took graduate courses for a Single Subject Teaching Credential.

After student-teaching, however, I decided that path may not be best for me. I still love helping people understand stuff, and tutor math, but I needed to find a new direction to go.

The logic of SQL and finding ways to pull information out of databases. This is all sort of new to me, though, and I thought keeping a log of what I’m learning may be helpful in the future.
